Meet Ms. Renee

Ms. Renee is an educator, tutor, and the founder of Miami Homework Help, with more than 20 years of experience helping children build academic skills, confidence, and a positive attitude toward learning.

Her passion for education began early. Growing up in El Salvador, she was surrounded by education through her family's school and went on to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education from Francisco Gavidia University. She has worked with children as an elementary and preschool teacher and has also taught music, piano, art, English, and Spanish.

In 2014, Ms. Renee opened her first Homework Club in Miami, where she and her staff supported students with homework, strengthened academic skills, and helped children make measurable progress in their schoolwork. After moving abroad and later returning to Miami, she saw that many families were still facing the same challenge: children were struggling with schoolwork while parents were struggling to find the time and support to help them.

That experience led her to create Miami Homework Help—a tutoring service designed to give students the individualized attention they need to understand what they are learning, keep up with school, and become more confident, independent learners.

Ms. Renee believes that effective tutoring is about more than simply completing homework. Children learn best when they feel comfortable, understood, and supported. Her approach combines academic instruction with encouragement, patience, and individualized strategies that meet each student where they are.

Today, she works with students in Miami and online, providing personalized support in areas such as math, reading, English, homework help, Spanish, and academic preparation.



Her goal is simple: to help students feel more capable in school—and to give parents the peace of mind that their child has someone in their corner.
